The colour is typical of an American IPA with a cloudy golden orange and topped with a creamy beige head. Typical American IPA aroma with lots of pine, grapefruit, and toffee notes. Where it fails is in the flavour, not as robust or as hoppy as an American IPA with muted citrus and caramel notes.

Pours a very hazy golden colour with a massive frothy head and leaves globs of lacing. Earthy, lemon and floral aroma. Flavour follows the aroma with some sweet malts and herbal. Medium body. Something weird with the flavour. Don’t know what rust tastes like but this could be it.

Pours and immense amount of foamy bubbly head and has a slightly cloudy golden amber appearance. Patchy lacing. Aromas of pine and citrus hops as well as grains and malts. Flavours are floral and citrus hops, very bitter at first but seems to get more subdued near the end. Strong puckering and astringent mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Average retention. Ok, just a weird seeming ipa. Something's a little off.

This Italian IPA pours a hazy golden colour with a frothy off-white head, good retention, but minimal lacing. Aromas of grapefruit with the hops, with very sweet malts. Medium-bodied but not really dry with hops. Not crazy bitter but the hop is present. Mild roasted malt seems to smoke up the hop. Lots of fruit (oranges mostly). Still, not enough to save this one. Decent, but nothing close to exceptional.

Bottle - pours a cloudy gold ale in the glass - 2 finger frothy white cap, fair retention and lacing. Aroma is demure but pleasant, big pale malts, touch of sweetness, earthy, fruit peels. Moderate carbonation, bready sweet malt in front is balanced well with herbal juicy hops, light bittering in the finish. A utilitarian IPA, very approachable and good for a session.

The beer poured a hazed golden yellow with a generous white head. Aroma of grainy malt, pine, and weak citrus. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour contains tropical fruit notes, and sour citric notes. Average at best. -

From Zyn (Calgary). Poured an insanely large - three fingers deep - foamy white head, over a hazy orange body. Nice lacing from the head, too. Nice enough aroma, hop and citrus were the mains. Mouthfeel too thin by far for an IPA, actually thought it watery, although it did solidyify somewhat towards the end. Flavour not dreadful, a bit sour rather than bitter.
