Pours a real dark brown colour with hazy ruby highlights, a big mocha-coloured creamy head, good retention and lots of lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, nuttiness, apples and hints of cocoa and coffee. The coffee and chocolate notes are more present in the taste. Again, lots of nut notes. An alright porter, but nothing to go back to. Unless you really like big nuttiness mixed with cocoa powder.

Picked up a 32oz mini growler at the brewery. Pours a nice thick frothy off-white head that dissipates to an evenly spread thin coating. Has a cloudy golden orangey appearance, like a darker grapefruit juice. Aromas of Belgian yeast, oranges, wheats. Flavours are quite fruity, citrus notes, hints of grapefruit, wheats and a bit yeasty. Has a little bit of a tarty finish. Quite good retention. Lively carbonation. Entered incorrectly, under wrong beer (actually Winter Reprieve) :(
