Shared with Chopz. Pours a small amount of bubbly head and goes away not long after. Has an extremely dark brown appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas of mild coffee, dark roasted malts and dark chocolate. Flavours are also coffee and dark chocolate and the oats really do come through. Mild toffee notes. Nice wet mouthfeel, fairly smooth and mild warming sensation. Medium bodied and good retention. Goes down really well.

Thanks to PaleAleRider for sharing this one with me. Pours a dark brown with very little highlights. The small head is beige coloured with decent retention and wavy lacing. Beautiful sweet nose from the oat, with roasted malts and coffee. Medium-bodied and not too heavy with a little stickiness. Well-hidden alcohol, goes down very well. Fruity malt taste with hints of coffee, chocolate and apples in the finish, that is slightly dry. Quite pleasant and even refreshing for such a dark strong beer.
