(March 30, 2014) 500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark, probably at Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 5.4%. BB date 20.07.13. Hazy orange colour, large white head. Smells a bit "off", sweetish notes of malts and caramel, only hints of banana and cloves. The flavour is somewhat better, malty character, not too sweet, but again the typical hefeweizen notes of "banana & cloves" are very subdued. Lacks some of the "freshness" of a better hefeweizen, Might buy a fresher bottle at another occasion, to re-rate.

pours a rich amber orange, hazy, big white head that very slowly subsides leaving huge streaks of lacing. The aroma is spice, yeast esters, red apples, cinnamon, big clove notes. Taste leads with mild banana, apple pie filling, molasses, fruity yeast, but spice notes become more pronounced as it warms. Carbonation is crisp and full, while the mouthfeel is slick and coating.

Light opaque yellow with thick lacing white foam head. Light citrus aroma, nice taste. Light citrus tones, a good weissbier. (Velp 201412) Bottle from Douberd.

An orange-amber colored beer with a big tight bubbled, foamy textured head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. Settles into a thick enough ringlet. Dusty yeast, grainy wheat malt, woodsy hop notes in the nose. Light bananas come into that nose profule in the tasting. Medium bodied and creamy. Very Nice!
