La Belle Gueule Houblon est une lager filtrée houblonnée à cru. Au nez, vous serez plongés dans un bouquet floral complexe dû au mélange de cinq houblons américains et nobles. En bouche, quelle belle amertume! The Belle Gueule Houblon is a flitered dry-hopped lager. The nos will hit you with its intriguing floral blend of five American and Noble hops. And the mouthfeel, such lovely bitterness !

Pours a nice thick frothy white head has a rusty amber appearance. Active carbonation, very bubbly. Thick lacing. Aromas of citrus and floral hops. Some pine scents also come through. Flavours of citrus hops, light caramel malts, fruity notes. Smooth and light creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good and quite different, being a lager with strong hoppy notes.

After lots of the Quebec macros did an IPA this year, RJ came out with this one, but differently. This is a lager. Pours a clean rich amber colour with a big frothy warm cap, great retention and loads of creamy and sticky lacing. The nose is grassy with the hops, creating some pine notes with caramel malts in the background. Seems like fruity yeast eventually come out. The mouthfeel is kind of flat, but this is nice with this one, with some stickiness and light dryness. Good grassy hops in the taste, well-balance with the malt. I am quite surprised by this one overall. A good hoppy lager.
