This bottle deceived me into thinking this might be a dark beer, it was not.Extremely light in color, decent aroma's .Light in the flavor, not much backbone with this one. I would not search this out again.

New to the shelf, so worth a try.... it doesn't have the Euro-funk of most green-bottle European beers, but it doesn't have much else either. Really pretty bland and certainly not worth $9+ for a six-pack.

Pours a clear golden amber with a frothy eggshell head. Aroma is malty and crisp, not strong but acceptable. Flavor is about average, malty and fruity, the latter mainly apple; typical, but it sure tastes good after braving icy roads and people who don’t know how the hell to drive in the snow! Crisp, smooth finish has just a hint of hops. Average, but refreshing.

Part of a mix sixer at Albertsons in Vegas. Pours a very light golden colour with a frothy white head, decent retention and some foamy lacing. The nose is pretty horrible though. Bad veggies, adjuncts, crap water. The taste isn't much better with fake malts and mild sweetness in the finish. Maybe the normal Beck's is not the best beer, but it sure is much better than this piece of poo. This is horrible that they want A-B to produce this for them, with their name on it. Beautiful black bottle and label. Thankfully nice to look at.

I grew up on Beck's. One of the first beers I tried, always been nostalgic for me. Favorite is the Beck's dark, but I never mind an old skool regular Beck's. I have been VERY curious to try this...curious no more. I thought it was Pilsner-like til I noticed the label and reviews here. Has some grassy flavors, and caramel malt that is not balanced too well. So far, the worst of the Beck's that I tried....maybe cause brewed by AB in St. Louis? Wondering if the other Beck's are lower in quality now? Glad that I did not get a 6-pack of this....although I had to pay $3.50 for a single at the poker room. :(

Pours a lear light golden color with lots of carbonation, and a medium to light amount of white foam and little to no lacing. The aroma is sweet and grassy, nothing particularly inviting here. The taste starts off slightly sweet but ends with a metallic flavor. Not enjoyable to me. The mouthfeel is smooth and crisp, medium bodied with nothing to complain about here and nothing particularly special either.

A pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma contains some lemons and grassy notes. The flavor is sweet corn and some alcohol. A little bit of a metallic ting in the aftertaste. This is way too sweet and boozy for something thats 6%. Overall not good at all.

Compared to regular Becks, this should rank much higher since it isn't skunky. However, it is still just a regular pale lager with almost no discernible hop aroma and very bland taste--a little grainy with a touch of lemon is what I get.

Bright and clear sunshine in color. A three finger, frothy testurd white head rises briefly above. There's no lacing. Light lemon-grain nose. Mostly grainy malt and lemon in tasting. Light medium bodied. It's better than most pale lagers.

Pours out a really clear off-yellow to a slight amber with 1/3 finger of white suds.Smell is slight hops, grainy malts.Taste is bland and mellow. Aftertaste of lemon rind and grain.Mouthfeel is just a tad sticky and fairly boring.Overall ehhh.
