Brewed under the German purity law of 1516, only after the brewing process is complete is the alcohol removed, producing the distinct, crisp, clear taste you would expect from Beck's bier, but without the alcohol.

The beer poured a translucent medium gold with a huge frothy white head. The aroma grainy malt. The mouthfeel is very watery with almost no carbonation. The flavour is weak malt, and nothing else. Could quite possibly be a heavily watered down Beck's.

Pale yellow with huge white foam head. Sweet aroma but surprisingly a somewhat bitter taste. Went well with Bratwurst at Autobahnrastätte and when alcohol is not done. (Bad Oldesloe 201207)

Bottle: Poured a light copper color lager with a small foamy head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light skunk with some light medium sweet malt notes. Taste is also a mix between some light medium sweet notes with some distinctive adjunct and some light skunk notes (damn green bottles). I can’t say that this is really a lot worse then a regular Becks but then the regular beer is not very flavourful to start with.

I did not expect much from this brew at all. The aroma is a bit malty with maybe some bready or raisin overtones. The appearance is a rustic orange to amber with a decent head on top that is off-white and diminishes to a light lacing that coats the glass decently. The mouthfeel is light-bodied with not much complexity nor balance with a palate that is watery as hell; yuck. The flavor is very watery with maybe some maltiness with a lot of bready overtones with an aftertaste that is lacking but is a bit malty with maybe some raisins with a finish that is watery and lacking as well. Overall, bottomline, I got this brew just to try it and so I could say I had had it; boring and ruff stuff here...Next review please. By the way, I think this is the amber not the gold but reviewed accordingly.

Very weak pale yellow color. Much foam, but it does not last for long. Aroma is quite nice and hoppy. Taste is not very beerish... But it goes down smoothly and has some elements of beer in aftertaste...

Bottled. Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Strong malty hoppy nose. Weak flavour of malt hops and hay. Sweetish aftertaste with some sour vegetably hints.

This 0.0% brew (written on label) pours a pale yellow and golden colour with hardly any head. The skunky nose is there.... for sure. Then, a weird tuna and grain mix smell come out of the skunk's ass. Not very pleasant. Thank god, the taste is much better... tasting like a light Beck's. Some hop and some malt, with a very light finish. Nice to see this one follows the road of the original Beck's.

(33 cl bottle, bought in Norway). Fizzy straw coloured water with some unpleasant metallic bitterness. I can't believe I actually paid for this. If I'm ever desperate for a n/a drink, I'd rather have a bottle of sparkling water.

this gives Becks a bad name. It is sour fizzy water. Erdinger, Juplier (also Interbrew) and washing up water are much better. Just because it has no/low alcohol does not mean it's got to taste like this! If I drunk a bad batch I'm happy to aplogise

Water about captures this one corectly. It may have been the best of the three NA's I've had (O'Douls and St. Pauli NA), but it still was no good. Of course, I don't like the standard Beck's Lager anyway.
