Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
500 ml swing-top bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Weyermann glass a clear oak-burgundy coloured R A beer with a two fingers tan foamy head that had no retention at all and consequently no micro bubbles. Low carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is intense red cooked fruits, berries, redcurrant, rhubarba, jam and a spicy touch, licorice. The flavour is toasted malts, toffee, corn and cooked red fruits, berries, redcurrant, light sugary. The mouthfeel is thin, light sweety and flavoured cooked fruits. This light bodied R A brew has a long malty and cooked fruits finish. May be no ABV but many flavours for this brew reminding me the old jamjar from my childhood. I like it.
