Oh Canada! We are (politely) proud to brew this certified organic pale ale with an all-Canadian list of ingredients: aromatic hops from Ontario and British Columbia, Ontario barley and wheat malts, Alberta-grown oats, and Ontario-propagated brewer’s yeast. Tastes like: a marvel of Canadian ingenuity. History & Style CDN Pale Ale is a north-of-the-border rendition of the hop-forward, flavourful American Pale Ale (APA) beer style. Popularized in the 1980s, APAs are typically brighter and slightly more bitter than its counterpart from across the pond, the British Pale Ale. Beau’s Farm Table Series beers are brewed true to style, and easy to enjoy. Their recipes showcase our favourite classic or emerging beer styles from around the world. The label art for CDN Pale Ale is as thoroughly Canadian as the beer itself. Displaying a Canadian-themed pinball machine housing an iconic Canadian aircraft, it pays tribute to our nation’s history of aeronautical innovation. Fun fact: This is the third Beau’s beer to feature an iconic aircraft on its label. The first? Screamin’ Beaver in 2010. Tasting Notes CDN Pale Ale pours hazy orange with a thick white foam. The aroma offers a hoppy mix of melon and citrus notes. This medium-bodied beer features a silky mouthfeel, moderate bitterness and big fruit flavours. The finish is bright and hoppy.

Part of Fall 2018 mixed pack. Pours a huge frothy off-white head and has a pale golden appearance, lively carbonation. Big thick dirty lacing. Aromas of herbal, grass and earthy hops, a bit of citrus, some notes of biscuits malt. Flavours are mostly on the hoppy side, some pine and resin notes, subtle citrus and herbal hops, a little bit biscuit malt, mild bready and oat notes. Slight warming sensation. Decent drying mouthfeel. Pretty good overall.

Part of the fall 4-pack for 2018. Pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a kind of creamy warm head, good stay and some thick creamy lacing. Very grassy, herbal, leaf hops in the aromas. The taste shows the hops, but nicely blended with the malts as the backbones. A nice dry mouthfeel with a sharp bitterness. Still, some creaminess comes out of this. Quite a nice hoppier Pale Ale that goes down nicely.
