Cask; Seasonal - Winter. Available bottle conditioned. This is a specially crafted rum porter. Rich, dark and warming, it is perfect for those cold evenings. Hints of rum mingle with coffee and vanilla flavours, a truly wonderful old style beer. Ingredients: Maris Otter pale malt, crystal malt, chocolate malt, roasted barley, wheat malt. Challenger and Bramling Cross hops.

    Bottled. Black/deep ruby red colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is spices/herbs and some roasted malts. Flavour is hops, slight roast and some wooden sweetness.

    Hazy dark brown. No head. Vague aroma of sweet coffee and dark fruit. Roasty full flavour of coffee beans, vanilla and dried plums. Small hints of rum. Salty finish. Tasty.

    Bottle from Waitrose, Bath. Dark brown, almost opaque with no head. Aroma has fruit, malt, coffee and alcohol. Taste is sweet, liquorice and roasty. Medium to full bodied with a not entirely pleasant oiley mouthfeel.
