This traditional American style brown ale has medium body with a sweet Carastan maltiness. A rich deep chocolate color, our Brown Antler is mildly hopped with Mt. Hood hops. Check out the Antler tap handle... locally grown! This has been our most popular beer over the years... a very easy drinking brew.

On draught at the brewery: Poured a clear copper colour with not a whole lot of fizz. thin off white head. aroma is somewhere between maple syrup and butterscotch. Sweet smell, but taste comes across a little dull. Nice taste, but a little boring.

This one was OK Deep brown color decent head and some lacing. VERY thin mouthfeel that didn't impress me at all. The flavors were mild. Some nuutiness. The aftertaste was bitter

There wasn't much of an aroma to this...a faint nuttiness and slight hoppy aroma. This poured a very nice dark brownish-red color in the glass with a good sized head. The taste was a little heavy, but a very nice blend of fruit, malt and nuts. I recommend giving this a try.

I had this one on draught the other day. First, I must say that brown ales are my least favorite style of beer. This was not too bad a beer for that type.

Nice brown color. Malty and light hop aroma. I liked this beer despite other rating.

Had a huge foamy head and a dark brown color. Sweet, nutty, musty aroma. Had a lot of carbonation with a medium body. A little caramel, with a chocolate, nutty aftertaste. I wasn't impressed with this one.

Poured a reddish caramel color with a small, off white head that left very light lacing on the glass. Butterscotch, diactyl, nuts, citrus hop aroma. Dry, citrus hop taste, light fruitiness, sweet malt. Average mouthfeel. Not bad.
