Kind of like a classic german hefe, but light, with a slightly different (and drier) yeast character and not as much of the banana/clove thing going on. Not bad at all, but not a standout either...

slightly hazy golden yellow with of-white foam head. Aroma is typical for a wheat beer. Yeasty. Taste is refreshing citrus, lemon is dominating. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste slowly turning bit more bitter. (Moscow 201209)

Pours a hazy dark golden yellow in color with a medium sized foamy white head which reduces to about a small head covering the entire beer over time but is retained throughout. Moderate lacing is observed. The aroma is a little harsh but there are notes of grains, banana, and clove. The taste is slightly sweeter than I expected, this beer had notes of banana, clove, fruitiness, and a grassy hop aftertaste. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

A cloudy, dull golden colored beer. Particulates are noted in the body. A big creamy textured, white head rises above. Some hang time, settling into a thin soapy ringlet. The nose is light wheat. In the tasting the wheat along with bananas dominate. Light to light medium bodied. Strong presence of creaminess. Really good.

500 ml bottle. Poured in the original Baltika seidel a hazy golden orange colored wheat beer with a two fingers white creamy foamy head that had tons of micro bubbles and had a long retention. Active carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is strong wheat malts, yeast, bread, fruity, citrus and orange. The flavour is wheat malts, fruity, bananas, a point of spices, coriander and cloves. The mouthfeel is very smooth. This light to medium bodied Weizen has a lingering fruity finish. A pleasant surprise for an easy to drink, refreshing and fair Hefeweizen, not from Germany but from Russia.

Pours a lovely clear dark-golden amber with a thick head. Aroma is strongly malty and wheaty, with hints of lemon. Flavor is malty and typical of a good wheat beer, and has a citrus undertone. Finish is crisp, smooth and refreshing. An excellent summer beer, perfect for a picnic or a ball game.

As with all the baltikas this one turned out better than expected. Aroma was average with hints of wheat, banana, corriander, and spice. Flavor was a little stronger with the wheat, corriander and spices, and it left a plesant aftertaste. Good mouthfeel smooth but with a slight carbonation bite, overall i thought it was a pretty decent wheat.

Pours a hazy yellow-orange with thick white head and excellent lace. Fresh aroma of hops, malts, citrus, and spices. The mouthfeel is thin at first, but expands and is tangy, smooth, and full-bodied. Flavors of wheat malts, light hops, citrus, and light spices. More than I expected.

Nice hazy yellow pour, with a creamy light head that hung around a bit. Flavor of bananas and cloves. Not hoppy, no after taste, no bitterness. Nice crisp, malty beer.

Poured a nice cloudy golde color with a nice frothy white head. Had aromas of citrus and a little sweet wheat nuances. Had a pleasent flavor consisting of melon and wheat. Went down real smooth.
