The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn’t believe that, it’s the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the ’800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

250 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 8%. Murky brown colour, large off-white head. Moderate aroma of malts, yeast and banana. The flavour is very sweet (too sweet), with notes of brown malts, caramel and squashed bananas, minimal bitterness. Drinkable if you have a sweet tooth, but not a beer I’ll buy again.

Pours out in a hazy amber colour with a rich white lasting foam. Aroma of yeast, oranges, herb sand mild cinnamon. medium to full-bodied of yeast, dried oranges, apricots and mild herbs. Smooth mouthfeel. Smooth yeasty finish of oranges, soily hops, mild cinnamon, herbs and alcohol. Quite delicious and elegant stuff.

A murky orange appearance. Some citrus and bread present in the aroma. The flavor is a little on the spicy side with some lemons and brown sugar. Pretty good beer.

Initial nose of ginger and peaches. A long lasting small white head. Dark copper with some sediment and cloudiness. A nice slightly sour apple taste. Also has pepper, ginger, orange and some slight yeast. Nice creamy and full mouthfeel. This is on par with other Belgian Strong ales. Very impressive.

This brew pours with an orange amber body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma and flavor are sweet, malty and fruity with a slight vinious note, a little spice and a touch of sourness. Medium to full bodied and amazingly smooth with a touch of dryness.

Champagne-esque pop, frothy beyond belief. Very fruity aroma, something like bubblegum, vanilla, nectarines, with a hint of hazlenut. Loads of sediment in the ensuing yeast storm. Decent palate, very silky yet robust feel that stirs echoes of Belgium's better selections. This ambrosial mélange embodies the etheral countenance of an accomplished brewer. I dare say it is the best thing since chewable liqour.

This could be Italy's best brewery. Well, it's Italy's best brewery that exports to the U.S. anyway. It's a nice sight in the glass, with an cloudy orange color, and effervescent carbonation. Aroma is light, slightly fruity, and almost flowery. Light, but very complex. Toasted oats, as well as citrusy flavors hit the tongue. Hops are present, but can't do much against the spices and malt. Very, very complex, and very very tasty. Highly recommended.
