A murky orange/brown appearance on this one. The aroma consists of citrus, brown sugar, and some dark fruits lurking. The flavor is slightly bitter with some lemons, caramel, and brown sugar. A different twist on IPA. Overall pretty good.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy medium brown color ale with a average size head with OK retention and no lacing. Aroma of dry hops with light caramel malt notes. Taste is also a mix between some light caramel malt with a dry hoppy ending. Medium full body with good carbonation. Not the best mix of hops for an IPA but still very good and probably one of the best from this brewery.

Poured a deep murky copper with a whopping sticky tan cap. Aromas: musty honey, figs and wet hay..excellent!...but not what you expect in an IPA. Flavor continues to break the style parameters with good malt tone but some char from black patent malts...good balance with long boil bitter goldings...clean finish...metallic after taste. Hoppy, fruity with a caramel discernment and a light toasty-char...A good ale but it’s not an IPA.

This Laval (Quebec) IPA pours a clean caramel-copper colour with nice steady tiny-bubbled carbonation. Got a decent off-white creamy head by pouring a good distance away from the glass. Above average retention with some mild lacing. Beautiful nose of grainy malt, caramel, nut and slight hop. Creamy and a little watery mouthfeel. The taste is not as hoppy as I expected, but just like its description. Well mixed between the bitterness and the caramel, with light apple notes. A touch of burnt malt and nut is also present in the flavours. A great India Pale Ale for those who do not like their hop crazy, but still highly there with a load of other great things. This brewery is really impressing me so far.

Orangey, no head, that being said the aroma is fantastic with a very floral and sweet notes, citrus flavor great carbonation a good balance between the sweet malt and the bitterness of three different hops...In my book a sure bet....
