Nice color of dark brown with a nice tan head that lived a while with decent lacing that lasts. The flavor is aaaannnnn. I am not overwhelmed with much flavor and have yet to find the cherry taste.

Pours a black color. Smell is of roasted malts, some cherries. Taste is also of roasted malts, a touch of coffee and cherry. Feels full bodied in the mouth and overall is a quality beer.

Bottle from Tank's Bar and Grill in Dayton. Thin dark mahogany brown pour with a thin head and little lacing. Sour cherry aroma with some toasted malts. Taste is puckeringly sour although I like cherries, this one is a tad too tart with the extract, some stout qualities but there are hard to find over the cherry tart. I'd skip this one.

Wow, was pretty disappointed in this beer, was hoping for more cherry flavor and bit thicker on the stout. Aroma of malts and cherries. Minimal head on the pour, nice dark pour. Flavor of malts with cherries at the end of the taste. I liked Bell's Cherry Stout much more.

Poured a nice foam top, good color for a stout.Had a decent aroma, the cherry tasted you definitely had to wait for. Not a bad beer , the cherry flavor seemed forced into the beer. The alcohol was not present at all .An easy drinking beer, just i could not drink more than one of these at a time. Will recommend .

cheapdark (1768), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA 3 Aroma Appearance Flavor Palate Overall 5/10 4/5 6/10 2/5 13/20 Mar 8, 2009 Smells mildly like a dark beer, roasty and a tad sweet. There is also a slight soap perfume in there too. Initial impression is that it hides its alky content well for 6.5%. No head on the pour, it looks flat even tho it does have some hints of creamy carbonation on the tongue. Has gunk on the bottom of the bottle. Each slug is followed by a delayed cherry background reaction, it remains hidden until the finish takes place. Hide and seek cherry. Woody leather in there too. I liked this experience, normally I don’t care for these kinds of beers but I found this quite enjoyable. Finish is quite nice, no hints of alky is easily detected.
