This was a stout to remember with lots of roasted malted character coming through in both the flavour an aroma and sweet cherries complementing quite well. Drinks better than a 7.2% beer!

Also tried it at Horse Brass in Portland, my "local" Wonderful aroma. Excellent if you are looking for something different, but a bit too sweet and fruity for my particular taste. Would probably work really well with a chocolate desert.

Eclipse black color. Small head. Aroma is black cherries and sweet. Very intense aroma. A medium bodied stout. Malts are roasty with touches of chocolate, Very smooth. The cheery flavors complement the roastyness of the malts very well. Yet it is SO intensely cherry a little of this goes a LONG way. This is going to be one of those “love it or hate it” beers. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly smooth.

from previous notes taken on a trip to Portland, Oregon. Had this on draft at the Horse Brass pub thx to batkins for turning me on to this beer. This puppy has a huge black cherry schnauzola and a nice stout body to back it up. Definitely Fruit Beer meets Dry Stout. A winner
