Valerie Theuwis, Master of Hops at microbrewery DE HOORN declares this Limited Edition beer to be a mind-blowing Red Indian Pale Ale (IPA) of 8.0 % Alc.! This extraordinary, fruity IPA has some 60 bitter units, ensuring a nice bitter aftertaste . The fruitiness comes from the hints of fresh citrus and grapefruit evoked by the exclusive Polaris hops, making this a mouthwatering beer with a mild touch of caramel and a nice and pleasantly bitter aftertaste. The red color comes from the ruby colored malt.
