Our Fort Ross Farmhouse Ale (7.2% ABV) is a Belgian-style farmhouse ale with a California twist. The unique bitterness and earthy spiciness of Yerba Santa, a native California herb, perfectly complement the fruitiness and clove-like flavors created by a local saison-style yeast. And in addition to hops, barley malt, and wheat malt, we used toasted Belgian wheat malt, which gives our Fort Ross Farmhouse Ale its distinctive maltiness and burnished bronze color.

Pours a clear, bronzy amber with a fluffy and rather persistent buff head. Malty aroma has a fruity underpinning and more than a hint of hops. Refreshing flavor has malty, hoppy and fruity notes, minimal bitterness and sweetness, mostly just good ol’ beer. Texture is firm, smooth, and rather fizzy, leaving a hoppy and fruity finish.

A dry, lightly funky and very approachable saison. Has the nice, rustic farmhouse qualities. Lightly fruity and hoppy, and fairly complex, though it's drinks easy and light.

Bomber from d3atlanta/sam. light amber pour with a tight light head, some lacing throughout. Nice fruity then lightly funky nose and palate, yeasty and malty with lively flavors. Thanks Sam.

Pours a crystal clear dark amber with a one finger head that lofts for a bit. The carbonation is lively. Aroma is fairly light with hints of candy sugar, malts, and Belgian yeast. Taste is of cloves, lemon, Belgian yeast, and banana. Finishes off slightly dry and sticky. For what it is is is easy drinking but for the price there are better ones out there.
