I like wheat beers, I like pomegranates, so this is a marriage made in heaven...........NOT!. Colour - clear medium gold pour, white short-lived head. Aroma - some wheat, spice, floral hops, and fruit tones. Mouthfeel - medium. Flavour - sweet malty flavour with a hint of bitterness. Overall - not very well balanced.

Pours orange/gold with a one finger off white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is fruity, pomegranate I assume(haven't really had a lot of pomegranates). Flavour starts with the pomegranate, then the beer comes out, finishing with a light fruitiness. Low carbonation thin mouthfeel.

I hate pomegranates. I love beer. Which would win out? Unfortunately the pomegranates won out. A red-tinged golden colour in the glass, the aroma was a little too sweet. The flavour was just wrong however with the pomegranate hints too strong for my liking.

The beer poured a translucent golden red with a thin tan coloured head. The aroma was sweet malt and light fruits, although it was more apricot like than pomegranate. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt with a tang. A bit over the top flavour wise as it was more of a zing than anything. -

Purchased at the LCBO, and this one is a new addition to the Amsterdam Brewery. Pours a mild hazy golden-orange-copper colour with an slight off-white head that is creamy and bubbly. The retention is great, and so is the lacing all around. Has a nice soft pomegranate scent to it, with light malt grain. Lots of carbonation of bigger bubbles around the glass at first, but then, nice consistent smaller bubbles slowly coming up from the bottom of the glass. I am surprised after tasting it, that this one is on the watery side. Really missing the boat on the taste. Kind of soapy, with hardly any aftertaste. Must have more fruit and more wheat to it. Wish they would not filter this one so much.

Bottle from LCBO. Pours a burnished copper color, slightly hazed with a reddish tinge. Decent cap fair lacing. Lively carbonation Funky sweet fruit aroma and musty earthy notes. Light body, dry wheat biscuit flavor light woody hopping with a persistent pomegranate flavor that stays through to the dry tart finish. A light fruity spritzy-dry summer wheat beer in the commercial vein. No real flaws just not memorable enough to stand out.

Bottle: Poured a deep golden color ale with a good size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet malt with some light fruity notes as well. Taste is also a mix between some light sweet malt (couldn’t detect any wheat in there though) with some light fruit syrup added to the mix. I would be really surprise if there was any pomegranate in there; it is more likely that some syrup was use.
