I felt that this was thin for a porter. Colour - coca-cola brownish-black, thick tan head. Aroma - roast, nuts, and coffee. Mouthfeel - thin to medium. Flavour - watered down coffee with a hint of toffee sweetness. Overall - average.

Had this during an evening of beer with friends. An almost black beer with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and bitter coffee with both very apparent in the taste. Decent offering from a not so great brewery.

Smokeless Joe’s (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – 125 John Street)
20oz draught
5.0% ABV
$7.25
The beer poured a dark brown with black hues and a 1" thick light brown. The aroma was roasted malt, molasses, and cherries. The mouthfeel was medium to full bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was dry cocoa, roasted malt, and sweet fruit with a bitter finish.
