A nice ruby clear color, dark colored foam. Bitter fruity taste that stays quite long. Because this one is not too sweet one of the better bock's, but still they are all to sweet for my taste. (Velp 201203)

Amstel Bock is a beer with dirt tones in it. Loads of malt and a pretty heavy taste. The good thing about this beer is that you can sit back and enjoy it, or you can drink it pretty fast and order another one. You'll notice the 7% later. Best served in the original glass from draught.

Bottled. Dark amber colour, small brown head. Aroma is wooden, a bit roasted and raisiny. Flavour is malty, with mild roasted hints as well as a big alcoholic peak, which reminds of plums, but not quite as sweet though. Wellbalanced, though a bit "boring" after a while.
