I was kinda looking forward to trying this French belgian wit (not having seen any scores) but it was a bit of a letdown. the coriander and orange are not very pronounced, nor is the belgian yeast. a little light, yet somehow on the sweeter side of things. Not worth the coin.

750ml bottle -
Aroma - lemony/citrus/minty thing going on in the aroma...lacking the peppery/spicy character I enjoy in wit’s...citrus seems to trump everything else.
Appearance - bright, bright yellow, cloudy body with an enormous bright white head
Taste - heavy on the citrusy/lemon notes, which was very refreshing but got tiring after a bit...again, lacking anything else other than the obvious citrus angle
Palate - even handed, light bodied, crisp finish...nothing lingering
Overall - a bit pricey @ $10 a bottle, but I can see if someone enjoys their wit’s on the citrusy side, then this would be a huge hit. -

Only available in my area in 750ml bottles. That's a bad thing. The beer pours a hazy light orange with a huge frothy white head. The aroma is sweet wheat malt, some spices, and a floral hoppy scent. The flavour is weakly wheaty with some bitter spices in the finish.

Sickly pale, opaque yellow. The fizzy head diappeared very quickly. Some lemon up front, then nothing, then a slightly sour finish. Strong grassy aroma with some lemon...almost like a lemon tea. Overall, very bland and weak, and as a result, hard to write about. Yet another beer from France ethat I don't really like.

Enjoyed (well, not so much) at the Pub St-Alexandre in Quebec City. Looked like lemonade for sure. White head, little lacing and cloudy golden-yellow-beige colour. Aroma of lemon and a little white beer yeast. Bland mouthfeel. Taste like mild dishwater. A little lemon at first, then hardly any taste. A very weak white beer.

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 6
Aroma is of tons of fresh lemons and smells like Summer lemonade with strong citrus notes as well as some spice. Appearance is a cloudy, rich golden yellow and also looks like lemonade as well as Hoegarrden and has a very large head on top that is bleach white and frothy and remains and is well-carbonated. Mouthfeel is very light-bodied and extremely crisp with some citrus balance as well as malty balance with palate that is light and airy and a bit dry. Flavor is of freshly squeezed lemons as well as lime-aid with an aftertaste that is clean and light and a finish that is lemony and zesty as well as very tart. Overall, an interesting product for sure and almost tastes like alcoholic lemonade but is a bit lacking in the flavor department and is almost artificial in character; good Summertime beer.

Pours into my 25cl tulip glass with a four-finger thick, almost pure white colored head. The head leaves lots of lace and forms a rocky surface as it slowly recedes. The beer is a pale straw color with amber highlights. It shows a white haze and a pale color when held up to the light. Aromatics of orange peel are quite noticeable as I pour and inspect this beer. Up closer the orange notes gets even more piquant, almost like orange soda in intensity. The sweet citrus is so intense that I would guess there is something other than orange zest used here. A touch of grassy grain is noticeable if you intently smell the aroma for a bit, but the ϋber-citrus tends to dominate over all other aromas.Dry tasting with a grassy grain flavor up front. Towards the finish the concentrated citrus notes kick in. It tastes like Picon has been added to this beer, and given that this is a French beer this is not too surprising. Very light bodied, quite a bit like water in its quenching character. This has a certain bitterness to it in the finish that is tied in with the more dominant & even lingering citrus flavors. To sum up, there is not much beer flavor to this beer.
This is certainly quaffable, even quenching, but it is quite simplistic for a Wit. The amp'd up, almost artificial citrus character is just a bit too dominant; and I even like a healthy dose of citrus character in my Wits.

Hazy pale yellow appearance. long-lasting creamy white head. Orange-peels and wheat in aroma with a spicy undertone. Watery flavour of wheat and lemon. Spicy and soapy short afteraste.

Bottle: Poured a light golden clear yellow color ale with some white hue and a big foamy head with less then average retention. Aroma of citrus syrup with some weak malt and some sugar is reminiscent of coolers. Taste is dominated by some weak malt with a good dose of citrus notes. A bit too sweet for my palate but still very refreshing. I’m sure this could have turned out worse then what I drank; overall it kind of reminded me of those Lindemans beers.

Yellow colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Wheat, malts and some fruity hints in the nose. Flavour is sout wheat and fruits. Long wheaty and citric aftertaste.
