Clear yellow with small white foam ring. Aroma and taste is that of most German beers. Nothing special, just a normal beer. Second one from this brewery and both not top. (Velp 201401)

I bought it for the bottle, which is different and doesnt fit in the slot, so you have to lay it on top. I love things that don't behave. THe pour was light and bubbly with a decent head. The flavor was dry and hoppy, yet mild. It would be a good beer for those who prefer something light with less bitterness, yet with a definite hop presence. Stout, The 'herb' is the hop.. Hops is a herb, as it were. :)

500 ml flip-top bottle. Poured a golden yellow colored beer with half a finger white foamy head that had a short retention. Active carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is mild sweety malts, mild grassy hops, notes of hay. The flavour is mild sweety malts, moderate grassy hops. The mouthfeel is slight crispy and soft. This light bodied beer has a dry slight bitter finish. A beautiful flip-top bottle but a quite anonymous beer !

Probably the least favorite of the 40 some beers we tasted at Schooner's. Pour was a golden yellow color with little head out of a flip-top bottle. A very carbonated head with a malty aroma. Tast is malty that leads to a dry finish. Nothing really special, nor could I taste any "herb" that is stated in the name. Wonder what that's all about.

Very nice bottle design, unique. I like that. Erupts when opened; pours a wonderful hazy ruddy orange. Sweet hoppy aroma, like syrup. Wow, feels very good going down, silky smoothness. Taste is odd, however. bitter, but definate sweetness somewhere in the complex flavor. OVerall this is a decent selection, but strange.
