Our Belgian-style Extra Pale Ale is brewed with heaps of sweet Mandarin oranges from Blossom Bluff Farms and California two-row barley. We dry-hop with generous doses of aromatic Cascade and Columbus hops and finish the beer with a hint of lightly toasted American oak.

Really nice looking beer, slightly aged copper penny color with a big head that ends sort of soapy. Aroma has Belgian spice, hops and a slight dry moldish type funk at the back end. The flavor is quite classic, very well made and dry, bitter finish. A really nice beer, thanks slowrunner.

Not brewed by Hermitage, just AT Hermitage. Waaaaaaay better than anything i've had from them. Classic BPA, yeasty and floral aroma with hints of citrus. Flavor is nice, with those same attributes and a slightly dry finsih. Quite complex, tasty, yet refreshing and quaffable.

Sampled on 9/9/2012. This American Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, oranges and hops with some oak. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, with lots of orange flavors. The hops are citrusy, grapefruity and piney. A lots of hop flavors and bitterness. Nice carbonation. Nice mandarin orange flavors, they go well with all those hops. The oak is mostly at the finish. Nice beer. Like the overall taste in this beer, its not your typical American/Belgian Pale Ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and a touch dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with some oak.
