Bottle courtesy of CBA: Poured a green (neat color agent) color pilsner with a nice pure white foamy head with some very good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of crisp hops with some nice floral notes. Taste is dominated by some nice semi-sweet malt with some floral notes and some nice refreshing crisp hops. Body is full for the style with some great carbonation. Very well done and a nice one from this inconsistent brewery.

This was a bad idea in almost every aspect - plastic bagged 6 pack, label description claiming something about a Belgian style, a giant pile of boxes of the stuff creating an eyesore as the main display at the store well after St. Patty's, the outlandish price of 13.99$ for a 6'er of past-due novelty beer was probally the worst idea of all. How many people were they trying to surprise with the white plastic bag hiding the green beer? And how many of the suckers who bought it will ever buy another one?

This crap smells like a very cheap strong North American 40oz, brown paper bagged underpass standard, but the strange aromatic fruitiness and some wheat give it something to be proud of. Dumped out a clear ugly green (jello!) liquid into my Budweiser chalice - yes, that is not a typo - , small bright white cap, no carbonation, minute lacing. The flavour was absolutely terrible. Bad bitterness, sourness and pepper - at least it held briefly true to the Belgium style for a second. mouthfeel was soft and creamy with a solid bitterness. Where is the aftertaste? 100% crap. Salute.

You wouldn’t believe the shock I had on my face when I cracked open the first of this six back that came in a white plastic bag (best packaging ever) and it poured neon green with a pastel green cap that lasted about three seconds, not sure how I should mark this since beer isn’t suppose to be green so should this get a two? Or since this is what the brewer intended should I give it average. I think since this is what they meant to do ( I hope ) I’ll give it a average mark. Very light mild aroma that was mostly sweet and wheaty, touch of rubbing alcohol, and I swear I smell some melon. This stuff taste green, I can’t explain how but if green has a flavor this is it. Light crisp taste noticeable high test alcohol in the flavor, sweetness some grassy type malts, that’s about it. Why did they make this beer? Why? This is nothing more than a novelty for St. Patties day, the only real reason you’d drink this is to get loaded on green beer. Taste wasn’t horrible but it was way below average, I’ll never buy this again if it is brewed next year for St. Patties day.

well then. i was first excited about this beer when i heard it came out for st. patty's day. then i saw it was sold in 6's, in a plastic bag. super. so, i cracked this up, and poured out a kool-aid green liquid, that produced no head. first smell, a slight hint of sour apple, but gives a sweet hint as well. the flavour doesn't give anything to me at all. i'm trying to pick something out of it, but all i get is maybe slightly sweet malt. maybe. little bit of a bitter finish to it. then nothing. since this was given to me, i won't be buying this.

341ml brown bottle. Specially brewed by Alley Kat for Sherbrooke Liquor Store, Edmonton Alberta. Pours kool aid lime green with a modest white head. Trace of lacing. Sweet grainy aroma. Creamy mouthfeel, flavour is of sweet grains, trace of apple, light grassy bitter finish with a trace of alcohol.
