hmmm. been a while since i've reviewed a beer. and honestly, after 10 days of stone and alesmith, this is not a good one to kick things off again. first off, pouring it, leaves a white airy head in the glass. medium/dark translucent amber colour. has a pretty decent aroma. nutty fruit? maybe. smells good tho. oh. little hint of banana in it. upon tasting.... rapes my mouth. no sir, i don't like it. sort of like flavourful dust. but the flavour isn't good. just something else that isn't nothing. hard to explain, but that's the best way. its got flavour, but nothing good or that can be picked out as being a flavour. definitely has more "flavour" than canadian or coors light. all in all, i bought 6 of it, and i'm not really looking forward to finishing off the pack. p.s. can someone explain to me the point of the amber's website? honestly, its a complete joke.

well then. i was first excited about this beer when i heard it came out for st. patty's day. then i saw it was sold in 6's, in a plastic bag. super. so, i cracked this up, and poured out a kool-aid green liquid, that produced no head. first smell, a slight hint of sour apple, but gives a sweet hint as well. the flavour doesn't give anything to me at all. i'm trying to pick something out of it, but all i get is maybe slightly sweet malt. maybe. little bit of a bitter finish to it. then nothing. since this was given to me, i won't be buying this.

pours with no head and a dark ruby colour. deep cherry aroma. taste packs a punch with alot of tart/sour cherries. i've always enjoyed this beer ONCE in a long while, as its tough for me to have alot of, or even get through a full chalice. it'll be another long time until i have more of this.

poured with little head that became a skiff. colour is musty light orange. apricot fragrance gets caught in my nose hair. flavour is, well, hoppy. nice hops. sweet, and malts.

popped cork and a fabulous apple aroma sprayed up and raped my nostrils. in an etched glass, the head is full and white and remains. colour is a cloudy, diluted gold. get this. looks like apple juice :o first impression of the taste is very crisp. apples and malty goodness. such a fresh beer.
