330ml brown bottle, embossed. Says 5.4% alc on this one Regular Euro lager appaearance light golden with a large fluffy white head. Aroma is pretty grassy/grainy. Some doughy scents too. Taste is semi-sweet, quite noticabl malty with peppery hoppiness appearing soon after and in the after taste. Quite "soft" on the palate, lowish carbonation. Overall an average European lager, but its quite nice and better than American macro type lagers.

BPS4L6F6T4O41/4/2008 4:46:36 PM At first aroma is not bad, sort of bready yeast but when you pour it into the glass it takes on sweet higher alky malt liquor aroma. Clear pale yellow american lager color and appearance with a thin tea froth head. Yes, at first it’s clear, but then I’m surprised to find there is gunk on the bottom of the bottle that makes it take on a wheat beer swirl towards the end of the pour. Taste is a little more rude than the 4.6% would suggest. Good tingly carbonation and it has some industrial background hints. Odd mechanical lingering mild bitterness on the finish. I think I need a little more manners from a pale lager.

This poured a nice golden color with some hints of red as well. There was a thick creamy head that seemed to last for a long time. The aroma was faintly malty and a bit grassy. Not a bad taste at all and worth a try.

A great find. Poured a golden yellow with everlasting white head The flavor was mild and well balanced. It was most refreshing with hints of sweetness that added to rather than detracted from the flavor. This beer would go with any number of foods.

Pours a dark golden colour with a large white head, aroma is a tad grassy, mouthfeel is a full light creamy malted taste. Flavors are grainy, with a firm hop finish. Wasn't the best in my opinion, but I've had a lot worse.

(Had it as Alhambra Premium Export, 4.6%)Golden colour and small white bubbly head. Sweet malts along with some hops. Flavour is clean hops and ome malts. Very clean, very dry and quite nice overall.

Ya know, I really thought I was going to detest this beer, and I was real hesitant to try it. Believe it or not, I found it to be pretty tasty for a "Premium Lager." The white foamy head from the bottle pour was sturdy and took a while to melt before leaving a nice ring of lace around the glass. The liquid itself is a typical "Premium Lager" color. Ca-ca yellow. Nice malty aromas with hints of banana waft from the confines. And on the buds, I thought Alhambra Premium had more full bodied malt character and some nutty flavor than most beers of it's ilk. It didn't taste like the usual tinny carbonated urine that this style is famous for. The finish was nice and smooth. This was not as bad as I thought it would be. I would order one again on a hot day, but only if it were chilled for a very long time.

Yippee...! My first review of a Spainish beer!

Why the corny enthusiasim about such a non-milestone? Only to make up for the fact thst this particular beer is not too exciting, really.

330mL brown bottle, with the brewery logo embedded into the glass at the shoulder. First brewed in 1925, I assume. Well, they've certianly had some time to perfect this -- but haven't.

Slight red highlights in an otherwise standard yellowish body, with minimal head formation or retention. Not-wholly-dispicable aroma -- nothing offensive in the nose.

But it is the flavor that this beer's character -- or, rather, lack of -- that pretty much breaks it, IMO. Has a weird "cleaning solvent"-like vibe to the middle and the backend. Kinda soapy and unbecoming.

Sweet, and mildly refreshing, to be honest. But as far as overall drinkability goes, this is really pretty piss-poor. Maybe the other Spainish Lager that I picked up this weekend will have some more solidified positive elements to it -- this ain't cutting it for me. Next...

Worst Spanish beer I've come across. I will remember the name in order to avoid at all costs. Thin, sour and yeasty.
