The aroma is a vibrant bouquet of fruit and spice. It pours a wispy white head. The flavor is sharp with carbonation and more fruit and spice. The mouthfeel is full and the body is thick. A slight alcohol warming is rewarding.

Looks and smells very true to style. Nice copper red color with a wispy white head. Rich smells of fruit and spice. Much more malty than I was expecting which gave it a good mouthfeel and a maltier taste than most belgians that just use sugar. It was well balanced and hid the alcohol very well. A really good offering.

Thanks to pfoxyjohn for this one. Pours a copper, reddish color with a medium off-white head. Smells of dried fruits, malts and a bit of alcohol. Tastes of sweet malts, dried fruits and alcohol. Very nice brew.

Another gem from pfoxyjohn. This Krewe (for Mardi Gras consumption) pours a slight cloudy ruby amber with a nice head and ample lacing. Nice carbonation. A sweet fruit and toffee aroma fill the glass along with a bit of spice. Taste is rich with a toffee and caramel sweetness from the malts, a ripe fruitiness with apples and dates flavors, and a bit of spicy hops. This is a warmer for sure - Have Mercy Ms. Percy! Thank you again John.

This delight pours a crystal-clear coppery-red with a fair-sized off-white head. Robust, complex spicy aroma with caramel and fruit. Well-carbonated and smooth, with a very satisfying alcohol warmth. Superbly blended flavors of smooth malt, soft fruit, reserved hop bitterness, and peppery spice. The finish is long, deep, warm and sweet. Oh, mercy, this is a terrific ale!. Nicely done, Mr. Coffey. It was no favor trying this one. Tastes like the bitter cold outside Wisconsin wind outside blowing, while I'm inside dreaming of whenthe sunused to set hours earlier but the bluegrass band is playing inside and I remember drinking moonshine and smoking the ganja one night by a campfire dancing around. This is the true end, the honest end, my friends. Vote for me.

I've been waiting a while to try this brew. Pours a semi translucent amber colour with a huge off white head. Aroma is beautiful, enticing with ripe cherries, raspberries and sweet rich caramel malts on the nose. Taste is flavourful with ripe fruit notes and a creamy mouthfeel.
