had after a trip to Cali in the early spring. Really not bad for a pale lager. I know, faint praise...but still. Slightly grassy hops with the usual cornish sweet thing going on. No skunk. Not offensive.

It pours a bright yellow-gold with a thick white head and some traces of lacing. The aroma is malty, light hops, lemon, bready, and lightly spiced. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of bready malts, hops, lemons, grassiness, light funk, and spiciness. Bitter ... but not bad at all..

500 ml bottle, in the café at Stockmann, Riga. ABV is 5.2%. Pale golden colour, moderate head. Sweetish and fruity aroma. Moderately malty flavour, moderate sweetness, low bitterness.

The appearance of the very nice bottle sort of tricked me into thinking I was in for a real treat. Unfortunately once I took my first drink I was highly disappointed. Although the aroma was nice and pour looked inviting with a light gold appearance, the taste seemed watered and lacking in flavor. There seemed to be no notable pleasant hops flavor at all,and it finished dry, and a bit metallic. I found myself thinking I was drinking a very inexpensive light beer. I will have to think twice before giving this brew another try.

Very interesting aroma, I smell smoke and some sour fruits in it, taste is a little bit too sour for me (the beer was OK). Foam is not too strong, nice yellow color, in aftertaste You can feel a little bit too much hops, but it's not a problem.

Oh, they have now a new bottle, somehow very similar to Svyturys Ekstra Draught, which was said to be extremely original one... But the beer differs. Pale yellow color, average foam with few lacing strips. Nicely malty, hoppy and fresh aroma. Light to medium bodied. Watery and smooth. Rich malty flavor, latter hoppy with some grassy and irony senses. Solidly bitter at the end, a little yeasty brew. Nothing really special, but though nicely drinkable.

This is a malty beer with a pale golden colour and thin white head that leaves nice foam rings in the glass after each sip. The taste is a little hops bitter, that is not felt in the aroma, and has some dryness. The finish has sweet malty tones. This beer is ok and slightly partakes of Czech Budvar.
