Poured a sparkling golden color, nice initial white head, weak retention, absolutely no lacing, all pilsner looking. The aroma was grass and honey, some dms/sulfur aspects. The flavor was pilsner-like, with maybe a bit more malt to back up the whole beer. Just not that impressive, far off from a traditional festbier. The mouthfeel was significantly carbonated, malty.

Golden lager with a full body and a malty nose. Taste is malt but hops come to dry out the finish. 5.9% is perfect for consuming liters of this brew. Would love to hit the fest and drink this from the barrel. Find it, you will like it.

First aroma whiff and you get a blast of candy corn overwhelming you. Not a very strong start and it doesn't get much better from there. Overall a somewhat humdrum beer, neither really good nor really bad.

Everybody knows Oktoberfest, but have you ever heard of Tanzelfest? Neither had I, until I picked up a 500mL bottle of this recently.
What's the story? Well, to make a long story shorty, this beer is brewed to coincide with a children's festival held each early Summer in Kaufbeuren -- a fest that has been happening since 1494. That also explains the goofy looking people on the label of this beer.
And what about the beer itself? Eh, it's not bad. I've had better, I've had worse.
A bit overally drying in the mouthfeel -- a bit on the astrigent side of things in the backend, to be honest. But this is still decently quaffable just the same.
Rather plain in the nose and to my taste buds -- maybe they made this beer in light of the children's festival, and toned down the flavor profile for the little ones? (Hey, it's Germany, the kids can drink if they want to... ;)
I didn't expect a whole lot from this one, considering that I've had rather so-so beers from this brewery before. But it would have been nice to come up with something a bit more impressive than a mere "C+", me'thinks....
Another beer brewed for a festival, that gives free-wheeling Southern Germans yet another reason to drink at {fill-in-the-blank} beer festival... ;)

Light gold color, medium head, with a light malty aroma. A light bodied marzen. Malts are slightly sweet and well balanced by slightly spicy hops. A nice tasting light refreshing beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Nice beer, very drinkable
