What an odd dichotomy of a beer. It looks terrible. It smells terrible, and yet is a very tasty and filling brew. So much better than their Pils. Has an absolute shitty colour with no head and carbonated body. And that aroma! Eww! Smells like a cross between dirty feet and burnt popcorn. Alas, it is same for both glass and can. Thankfully it tastes absolutely nothing like it smells. You can really taste the caramel, and even some hops as well. Really enjoyable, and the more you drink, the more you like it.

Can. Colour - clear light amber, white head, frothy, lots of lacing. Aroma - cereal grains, noble hops, light toffee. Palate - medium, light carbonation. Flavour - sweet caramel, bitter hops. I've had better viennas.

A slight hazy amber colour with a golden highlight. Light beige head with average retention and some mild lacing. Grainy cereal malts for smell with light caramel malts. The taste is also well-balanced with the cereal taste and caramel malts. Hints of hops in the background. Some very light sweetness. Quite a nice Vienna all-around.

Can from local Foodland. Pours a huge frothy creamy white head and has a golden appearance. Some thick dirty lacing remains. Aromas of grains, light barley malts, subtle caramel hints. Flavours are mostly sweet and caramel malts, some earthy and herbal hops. Moderate carbonation. Fairly smooth mouthfeel. Not too bad.

The beer pours a translucent red-tinged gold colour with a generous foamy white head which quickly recedes to a thin rocky layer of islands. The aroma is very grainy, some herbal hops, and some off-putting acidic notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with slightly above average carbonation. The flavour is grains and some bitter hops but for the most part is very non-descript. -
