The beer pours a slightly hazed amber color topped with a light cream colored head that lasts a while. Toasted malt, caramel, bread, light earthy hops, and citrus comprise the aromatic notes of this beer. Mouthfeel is average and sticky. Flavor tends towards the sweet side of the amber spectrum with lots of caramel.

Taps clear dark amber with a thick and rather persistent creamy eggshell head that leaves generous lacing. Aroma presents fruity and malty notes, not strong but serviceable. Flavor features malty and pomme tones, typical but enjoyable. Mouthfeel delivers OK, if slightly slimy, body and good fizz. Not terrific, but worth a try - have one with dinner or during a game.

12 oz bottle. Hazy light amber, thin but tight head, no retention, minimal lace. Aroma is crystal malt, caramel, bread, light grassy hops. Flavor is light crystal malt, caramel, barely noticeable hop bite.

Amber, from bottle so little more to tell about the looks of this beer. Caramel aroma and taste. Smooth drinking, short lasting aftertaste. (Houston 201501)

I had this beer at the Quarter in Roanoke, VA. This wasn't bad and went well with the aligator tail and seafood assortment. Otherwise, it is not anything I would write home about. A very standard amber.

Pours a dark golden color. Smell is mild, some grains. Taste is also mild, rather bland, a bit of malt but not much going on. Overall nothing offensive, just a very boring beer.

more of a lafer than an amber, It has good lager yeast, creamy aroma, and a good tang, but the layers of hop flavor like in something like Louies demise are missing. Could I have got this one just to get Louisiana on my list... could be....

Aromas of toasted, dried nuts and thats about it, mouthfeel is ok. The body is a mid orange with a thin soapy cap. Flavor reminds me of roasted sunflower seeds, minus the salt. Overall its easy to drink, an average beer.

It pours a light amber with a thick white head and copious lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, hops, light funk, citrus, bitterness, and mildly spicy. The mouthfeel is smooth and fairly rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, lemon and citrus notes, bitterness, and spiciness. Good!

Hazy burnt orange/copper color with yellow highlights around the edges. Mostly white head that was not real full or very prominent. A bit of lacing, but not much. Several bubbles rising to the top, however they did not help with the head retention. Hints of caramel along with a prominent bready aroma. Nothing too complicated, which can be good. Solid in the nose. The bread and biscuit malt is nice and out front in the flavor. Detecting a touch of grain, which seems to stand out more than a typical Amber. The sweetness of the caramel malt is blended in nicely. Medium to light mouthfeel that is dry, crisp and smooth. Not a ton left on teh palate, but enough for a good showing. This is a solid brew. Nothing too cojmplicated or exotic. This is a working mans beer in my opinion. Would be an excellent Fall session beer. Could easily set a few of these back without even thinking about it. Goes down easy and without fuss.
