126 | Elysian Contact Haze | United States | IPA | 3.5
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Long lasting tropical nose ... guava, lemon, hint of cereal. Very pale yellow body with small head leaves a white skim coat with little lacing. Thin mouth, almost watery, with decent tingle. Tangerine, White Pepper, some pith on the finish. Flavors go away fast leaving just a touch of fruit on the palate. This really feels like a low cal low alcohol brew and yet it isn't. Kind of odd. Not objectionable, sessionable. |

127 | Gentle on my Mind | United States | IPA | 3.6
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Not much nose here, faintly tropical fruit...gentle perhaps. Soft gold body is well hazed (NEIPA) topped by a frothy white head that has little lace but leaves a lasting skim coat. Mouth is creamy and slightly under-carbonated. This is indeed gentle in the flavor. Very very drinkable with no outstanding qualities. Nice slightly bitter finish, subtle all the way, unique. IF this is what they set out to do (as the name suggests) then they did it well. |

128 | Charter Oak's Wadsworth IPA | United States | IPA | 4.2
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8 Strong nose ..... lemon, pepper, tangerine, honey, violets, lite malts. Hazed light orange body topped with a decent head that is short lived, nice lacing. Mouth is clean, medium bodied, proper tingle.Starts fruity but quickly goes to a piney bitterness, more so than the 65 IBU might suggest. With all the citrus in the nose there is surprisingly little in the mouth. Tastes like an old school IPA which is a treat. From the website an unusually accurate description. "Beer Stats: 6.5%ABV; 65 IBU; 12SRM? Best if served at 48 – 54F (9 – 12C) Tasting Notes: Our Wadsworth India Pale Ale , and its bold red branding, is a well balanced brew at 6.5% ABV; plenty of select malted barley, and an aggressive dose of premium hops, we think you will enjoy the taste and aroma of this style. Charter Oak’s IPA pours with a full head of foam and a rich amber shade. As you bring your glass up to your mouth, one can not help but enjoy the aroma of the citrus, floral, and piney from our fresh, finishing hops. Indeed, a familiar nose for most American west coast India Pale styles. Once the liquid reaches your tongue, our hops are loud and clear and as this IPA reaches the back of your palate, the hops only become more flavorful and intense. Having said this, our IPA is not too bitter and one could argue, with all the hoppiness of this this well balanced style, it is a beer that can be savored all night long." |

129 | Dogs and Boats | United States | Imperial IPA | 4.4
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 9 Simply amazing nose...green and honey and violets and peach, long lasting and strong. Light gold body with a white head with fair retention and no lace. Medium to thick mouth, nice coating yet clean. Can you say alcohol masked! This is just dangerously drinkable. Not super bitter, lovely malt backbone. Wildflowers and honey, not tart not sweet not cloying hint of stone fruit and pith, herbal, touch of pine. WOW! This is the best DIPA I have had. |

130 | Firefly Hollow Local Bud | United States | IPA | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 9 Mild side of standard NEIPA nose, tropical with a little barnyard funk. Medium hazed body that is pale amber toped with average white head, little lace. Mouth is creamy for an IPA, carbonation a bit lacking. Mild and balanced with no predominant flavor, some bitter lemon, a bit of wildflower honey. Extremely sessionable and a good brew to introduce non-IPA drinkers to...I gotta kick up the overall cause its my home state with home state ingredients. |

131 | Evil Genius Stacy's Mom | United States | IPA | 3.6
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 mild nose not nearly as explosive as claimed. Musty grass predominates with some citrus and some biscuit. Poor is a light copper body with a solid frothy head and very good lace. Mouth is a little creamy for an IPA medium Bodied. They claim low bitterness but at 85 IBU I think that claim is wrong. There is a lot of grain present in the taste almost leans towards a British Pale Ale. I'm getting some of the tropical fruit but not really any lemon or Peach. Finish is extremely dry. I like this flavor profile a lot just don't happen to think it's what they claim it is. To me it's much more an old fashioned IPA as opposed to a new or New England IPA. |

132 | Bell's Hopslam | United States | Imperial IPA | 4.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 Mild nose, honey, grassy fields, biscuit. Nice frothy head not much lace atop a very warm amber body. Mouth is creamy and full with a good tingle factor and nicely slick. Bitter, green, apricot pith, wildflower honey, alcohol fairly well masked, almonds, clean dry finish. About as good as a classic DIPA gets. |

133 | Cigar City Jai Alai IPA | United States | IPA | 3.9
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Mild nose, pineapple and pine, toffee. Pours a big pillow of a white head with good retention and lace over a clear medium amber body. Clean mouth on the thin side slightly slick not heavy on the tingle. Hits mild but the bitterness creeps (no offense Nixon) up in the aftertaste. A very balanced flavor profile, nothing stands out....some tobacco, touch of stone fruit, hint of honey, not at all cloying, very well made old style non-NEIPA IPA, Cheers! |

134 | Back East Rakautra | United States | IPA | 3.8
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Nose of tangerine, passion fruit, pineapple with an underlying faint buttered biscuit. Tasty nose. This is a milkshake NEIPA, a yellow and totally clouded body with minimal head and no lace. A mouth on the low side of medium and somewhat low carbonation. Strong bite of tartness and fairly bitter leaves a tiny hint of banana at the end, almost piney in the middle, some sour apple, tobacco and leather. Very unusual profile and very drinkable. |

135 | Bios Vlaamse Bourgogne | Belgium | Flanders Oude Bruin | 3.8
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8 Nose: dark cherries, sour apple, sweet tarts. Cordovan body with a thin beige head ..good retention and some lace. Mouth is thin with a nice tingle. Alcohol totally masked, hits sour, ends sweet, some raspberry, for sure some sweet-tarts, this is odd but i get a bit of beef fat (in a good way) then ending is pretty clean, after taste is light citrus. This is really pretty damn tasty. Would not be my regular drink but its a nice change of pace. |

136 | Thimble Island Vanilla Coffee Stout | United States | Coffee Stout | 3.1
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 Nose of espresso, toffee, creme boule. Dark brown opaque body topped with almost no head, leaves no lace. Mouth is surprisingly a lite medium, even though no head the mouth seems over-carbonated. An enjoyable and highly artificial flavor profile. Coffee, vanilla, a wee hint of dank dark fruit. Sweetness is a bit cloying. |

137 | Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing | United States | IPA | 4.1
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Really nice nose here; pineapple, lemon, clover, honey. Pours a hazy unfiltered medium-yellow body with a short white head that has good retention and OK lace. Mouth if medium bodied and nicely slick, well carbonated tingle tickles the buds. I good white pepper flavor here with well moderated tropical fruit/peach and a slightly sour ending. I find myself a bit tired of NEIPA but this one remains a treat. |

138 | Back East Brewing Ice Cream Man | United States | IPA | 3.1
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 yup, it does smell like an orange creamsicle. OK, i get the clouded NEIPA look but this one is apricot, murky, little head and no lace. Mouth is a bit thin for a lactose infused brew. Yup, tastes like an orange creamsicle...in a good way. Slightly off finish. This beer is way overrated on beer advocate. |

139 | Captain Lawrence Orbital Tilt (Citra) | United States | IPA | 3.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Strong and lasting nose ... biscuit and sour stone fruit and cotton candy. Minimal head, slight skim coat, no lace, medium amber body with lots of sediment. Mouth is thin, moderate tingle. Very much an on complicated flavor profile, more pine then one expects, starts tart, finishes sweet, bit of objectionable medicinal aftertaste. |

140 | Thimble Island Sea Foam | United States | IPA | 3.7
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Very present nose of citra, tangerine. Very pale yellow hazed body (Its a NEIPA) with short-lived head. Medium lite mouth and a bit fizzy. At 5% the flavor is pretty decent. A very sessionable lemony shandy-like flavor that goes down easy with not much aftertaste. |

141 | Back East Brewing Oktoberfest | United States | Marzen / Oktoberfest | 3.5
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Proper nose with lots of biscuit and a hint of cotton candy. Darkish copper body with minimal head and no lace. Medium bodied low on the carbonation, good for style. Perhaps a bit sweet for a Marzen, but lots of nice grain in the mouth a slightly sweet finish, a bit hoppy but well balanced. |

142 | Orono Brewing Tubular | United States | IPA | 4.3
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8 This is Orono's award winning go-to IPA. (NEIPA) Long-lasting nose full of tangerine and pine. Very hazy medium gold body topped with a white head and excellent lace. Lots of tingle in the mouth which is medium bodied. Not as nasty-tropical as many NEIPA's the balance on this is lovely. The bitterness is quite present hitting the top of the palate, lots of citrus in the middle with slight warming alcohol and a signifiant aftertaste that is sweet yet not cloying. |

143 | Thimble Island Brewing India Pale Ale | United States | IPA | 4.2
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9 Mild nose of biscuit, pine and ripe fruit. Coper body is lightly hazed with a decent head and good lace. Mouth is medium in body and nice tingle from just right carbonation. The 95 IBU's are there but not as overwhelming as the number. Solid malt backbone on this really approaches a Pale Ale. A hint of the tropical but nicely balanced with old style IPA characteristics. Alcohol is present and warming. Some fig and stone fruit with a nicely bitter finish. |

144 | Back East Brewing Rackautra | United States | IPA | 4.0
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8 Long lasting tropical NEIPA nose, sweet and dank. Milkshake appearance with decent lasting head and minimal lace, body a murky gold. Mouth is nice, a bit creamy, very nice tingle and a touch slick. Taste is tangy, pine playing against new-fangled tropical hops, a bit of a sour finish, alcohol well masked. I've heard rumor there's wheat in this brew and it seems possible. Back East is a great local(for me) brewery consistantly knocking out delightful brews. |

146 | Allagash Little Brett | United States | Belgian Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 (to be fair this bottle was born a year ago)OK, first off I had to pick a style (on that other beer site it would be called an American Brett, here Belgian seems the closest fit.) Pineapple and grass in the nose. Pours a thin head over a very pale straw body with no lace. Mouth is thin but not watery, perhaps a bit under-carbonated. I have become fond of this flavor profile. Pineapple and grass, maybe a bit of tobacco, just slightly sour with a fairly clean finish. Its more than the sum of its parts. |

147 | Grey Sail Brewing GreatKetch IPL | United States | Pale Lager | 2.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 5 Mose of pine that turns to grass and honey. Hazy yellow body with moderate shirt-lived head and no lace. Mouth is medium bodied and over-fizzy. Starts with hints of grass that soon turns sour and bitter, not in an overly pleasant way. Aftertaste is medicinal. |

148 | Captain Lawrence Freshchester Pale Ale | United States | American Pale Ale | 3.4
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 Floral nose with some dark ripe fruit and a bit of cotton candy. Lovely copper body is clear and topped with a nice white head that lasts and has good lace. Mouth is creamy and rounded but ends a touch watery. Mild flavor, some fruit pits, not complicated, slight medicinal finish, not an East Cost Pale, a tribute I suppose to brewer's west coast roots. Malt backbone a bit weak for my tastes in a Pale, this is more an IPA. |

149 | Smartmouth Brewing Rule G | United States | IPA | 3.8
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Nose of sweet malts, Pine, and grapefruit... A throwback to a classic IPA and quite nice for a change. Pores a medium copper body under a moderate Whitehead with minimal lace and retention. Nice full mouth carbonation seem spot on the others might want a bit more carbonation. Flavor is old-fashioned IPA bitter which is kind of nice to find these days. Mostly grapefruit and pine resin with sweet mullets balancing it nicely. A very nice drinkable IPA that is old school. |

Nice balance the fruit is dry, maybe a hint of apricot, clean finish, well rounded. |
