The beer poured a coca-cola colour with a creamy tan head that lasted. The aroma was weak roasted malt, smoke, molasses, and coffee. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was slightly sweet malt, some dark fruit, smoked wood, and coffee. A very good porter.

I tried this beer on draught on February 10, 2012 at "C'est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent ruby red colour with a thick creamy off-white head that lingered. The aroma was floral hops, some citrus, and some caramel. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was sweet caramel, some citrus, and a decent bitter finish.

The beer poured a very dark brown with blackened hues. The aroma was roasted malt, coffee, molasses, and licorice. The mouthfeel was medium-full bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was bitter coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, and some citrusy backdrops. Quite bitter.

The beer poured a translucent gold colour with a thin off-white head and plenty of effervescence. The aroma was grainy malt, and hops. Very clean. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was crisp, clean grain with a nice bitter finish. No sweetness or garbage detected.

The beer poured a translucent reddish brown with a very thin head. Aroma is smoked malt, spruce, molasses and some earthy funk. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is roast malt, vegetation, and a definite pronounced sweet syrupy taste like newly made maple syrup.

The beer poured a very dark brown, semi-translucent when heald to light, with a this rocky tan head. The aroma is citrusy hops, a little roasted malt, and some caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is citrus hops, not quite grapefruity, some sweet malt, and some spiciness.

The beer poured a translucent pale gold colour with a generous fluffy snow white head. The aroma was grainy malt and floral hops, pretty simple. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, some woody flavours and a hoppy finish. Not a fan of the style, and this did nothing to change my fandom (or lack thereof).
