A gift from a friend who just got back from a wedding in Hawaii. Who would have thought that Passion fruit could be used to flavour a wheat beer? I get the sense that the underlying beer is more of a witbier than an American wheat. The beer pours a hazy yellow topped by a snow-white head. The aroma consist of wheat, spices, and light fruit (Passion I assume). The mouthfeel is medium bodied with mild carbonation. Flavour is slightly sweet, certainly not overpowering. -

The beer pours a translucent dark reddish gold colour with a thin rocky tan cap. The aroma was grains, sweet malt, caramel, and floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bocied with medium carbonation. The flavour was cereal, sugar, and grains. Has a lot in common with a North American Stock Ale. Definitely not my favourite beer from Fuller's. -

The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was slightly sweet malt, hints of spice, and a citrusy hop finish. Very good beer. -

The beer poured a hazy golden yellow colour with a thick off-white head that lasted. The aroma was grains, light floral scents, citrus, and yeast. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium-high carbonation...kind of surprising. The flavour is citrus, grains, yeast...and quite acidic. Not as good as their donker. Alcohol can certainly be tasted. -

The beer poured a transparent reddish brown colour with a thin white head. The aroma was nuts, caramel, and yeast. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is yeasty, with caramel malt, and bitter grains. Not very bock-like. -

The beer poured a translucent reddish-brown colour with a thin light tan creamy head...darker than other altbiers I've had. The aroma was butterscotch, grains, and caramel. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt, butterscotch, and grains. Pretty one dimensional, and went down easy.
