Beer pours a dark hazed gold colour with a half inch white head. Aroma is banana, cloves, and rust. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium application. Firmer than most Hefes. The flavour is earthy, peppery, with wheat and citrus.

Beer pours a transparent golden-red colour with a medium tan coloured head. The aroma is light caramel malts, weak citrusy hops, and some acidic notes. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was slightly sweet with caramel notes, and a weak bitter finish. The worst Beer Academy beer so far.

This is an ugly looking beer. Looks like an unfiltered dark apple cider. It pours a very hazed golden-brown with no head. The aroma is yeast, apples (maybe the cider comment isn't off the mark) and some grains. I don't get any of the funk associated with Biere de Gardes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour has the funk I was missing in the aroma, with yeasty notes, and hints of apple.

The beer pours a slightly hazed yellow gold colour with a decent off-white cap that lingers a while. The aroma is honey, light fruit, and grains with no noticable alcohol notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour is grainy with noticeable alcohol bitterness. Takes a decent beer and knocks it down a notch or two.

The beer poured a solid coca-cola colour with a thin tan ring for a head. The aroma consisted of smoke, pork, roasted malt, and coffee. The mouthfeel was medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was smoked wood, coffee, and chocolate.

The beer pours a very very pale translucent gold, with a very thin white ring for a head. The aroma is weak grains, wet metal, and weak hops. The mouthfeel is watery, and medium high carbonation. The flavour is not much more than swill flavoured water. This is to be avoided at all costs, even if you're the designated driver.

The beer pours a medium gold colour, translucent, with a short-lived white head. The aroma grainy malt, weak hops, some skunkiness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is very grainy, very malty, some hop balance. Some cereal tastes as well. Not swill, but not something I want to try again.

The beer pours a hazy orange-gold with a thin tan head, definitely reminiscent of an orange coloured wheat beer. The aroma is pumpkin, spices, and wheat. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is more wheat and spices than pumpkin. While the first couple of Beau’s beers I tried were very good, the others haven’t lived up to the Ontario hype, certainly not at their price point.

Part of the 2012 LCBO Fall Release. The beer pours a beautiful translucent scarlet red colour with a very thin tan head that lingers. The aroma is a little smoke, roasted malt, and caramel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is sweet malt, some roast, smoke, and a hint of molasses. Easy drinking and not too sweet.

Part of the Fall 2012 Shipyard feature at the LCBO. The beer pours a hazed reddish-orange with a 1/2" light tan head. Aroma is tropical fruits, lots of citrusy hops, and pine. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour weak grapefruit hops, some sticky caramel notes, as well. A little too sweet to be great, but still pretty good.
