The beer pours a golden amber colour with a generous off-white head. Aroma is peat, smoke, caramel, and molasses....quite complex actually. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is smoke and sweet malt up front with quite a bit peatiness in the finish. Not as sweet as other Scotch Ales.

The beers a translucent deep gold colour with plenty of effervescence and a creamy white head about an inch thick that laces well. Aroma is cereal, grasss, and earthy hoppiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with good carbonation. Flavour is grains and hops, with a bitter finish. Crisp and clean like a lager should be.

The beer poured a hazed murky brown colour with a thin tan head. Aroma was mild yeast, roasted malt, and coffee. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is yeast heavy with the roasted malt and coffee notes muted in the background. Wasn't a fan.

The beer poured a solid black colour with a thin tan ring for a head. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, and plums. The mouthfeel is fill bodied and well carbonated. The flavour is smooth dark chocolate, coffee, and some sweet fruit. Very good, quite decadent.
