The beer pours a translucent light gold colour with a thin white head that lingers. Effervescence is plentiful. Aroma is grainy malt, earthy hops, and metallic notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and crisp, with average carbonation. The flavour is grainy malt, and herbal hops. While the aroma is very macro oriented, the flavour is quite clean with very little acidic or metallic notes.

The beer pours a translucent copper colour with a thin tan coloured ring for a head. The aroma is butterscotch, caramel, and earthy hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is weak caramel, brains, and weak herbal hops. This would be a decent summer session ale.

The beer pours a solid blackish-brown colour with a thin creamy tan coloured head. Aroma is strong on the citrusy hops, with hints of roast and coffee. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is citrus infused roasted malt with an excellent balance between the two. A very good Black IPA

The beer pours a sold black colour with a thin rocky tan coloured head. The aroma was roasted malt, coffee, and weak herbal hops. The mouthfeel was thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was watered down coffee, with chocolate and roast certainly prevalent. Not as good as Silversmith for a Canadian schwarzbier

The beer pours a dark hazed golden brown with a generous rocky tan coloured head. Aroma is fresh bread, dark fruit, yeast, sugar, and weak spices. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with above average carbonation. Flavour is bread, light fruit and spices. I do prefer the regular Gulden Draak to this, but still quite good.

The beer pours a dark reddish brown colour with a this light brown coloured head. The aroma is dark fruit, Christmas spices, and some roasted malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied witrh average carbonation. Flavour is spiced roasted malt, with a hint of bitter hops in the finish. A decent tasting beer but so far from an eisbock that I would have expected.

The beer pours a hazed metallic gold colour with a long lasting white creamy head. Aroma is spices, grains, and some yeastifunkiness. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with above average carbonation. There is a definite sour component to the flavour that is balanced by a milky sweetness. An interesting and enjoyable brew by one of the first craft brewers I discovered and enjoyed!

Part of the Founders feature at the LCBO (Backwoods Bastard, Breakfast Stout, Dirty Bastard, Pale Ale, Porter). The beer pours a dark copper colour with a thin ring for a head. The aroma is dark fruits and caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is sweet malt, molasses, some smokiness, and fruit. Not the best Scotch Ale in my opinion, but one of the better ones I've tried.
