Part of the Sawdust City Tap Takeover. The beer pours a hazed dark copper colour with a thin creamy white ring. The aroma is trropical fruit, grains, and yeast. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is fruity with a very bitter finish, but the flavours are muddled. Decent refreshing beer.

The beer pours a beautiful translucent reddish-brown with a thng ring for a head. Aroma is nutmeg, nuts, and coffee. Mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with mild carbonation. The nutmeg comes through in the flavour and complements the nut and coffee flavours quite well.

The beer pours a translucent pale gold colour with a generous white cap that quickly dissipates. Aroma is light fruits, grains, yeast, and citrus. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is yeast, grains, and some light fruits. Quite refreshing for a 9.5% Belgian blonde.

The beer pours a hazed golden yellow with a thin white ring for a cap. The aroma is yeast, funk, and honey. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grains, honey, and earthy flavours. Not a bad saison.

Beer pours a hazed pale gold with a frothy white cap that didn't last long. The aroma was very similar to a regular Molson Canadian, not much to give any impression that this is a wheat beer. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation...certainly not as thin as a Molson Canadian. The flavour is a little more robust than Canadian with less phenolic notes and a hint of wheat. Still rather metallic and tart however.

The beer pours a translucent golden red colour with a thin white ring for a head. The aroma is pine, citrus, and cardboard. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is grains, grapefruit, and pine. Bottled April 15, 2013 so quite fresh, but just doesn't thrill me.

The beer pours a very translucent reddish gold with absolutely no head. The aroma is citrus, hops, grains, and spices. The mouthfeel is weak bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is spicy, almost gingery, with some hops and earthiness. Aside from the lack of head and weak body, it was an easy drinking beer. I wouldn't want more than a couple at a sitting hour as the gingeriness would get to me. I have to agree with slowrunner77 however as I can get Chimay Blue for less money (and it tastes a LOT better).

The beer pours a very hazy golden-orange colour with a long lasting white head. The aroma is citrusy hops, some tropical fruit, and caramel and grains. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is a mix of tropical fruit and citrus with some sweet malt as well. Easy to see why this has been a favourite of the Toronto beer crowd for the last 3-4 years.

Part of the Spring 2013 LCBO Dupont feature. The beer pours a translucent reddish-brown (when held to light) and a creamy brown head that quickly dissipated into a ring. Aroma is roasted malt, yeast, and burnt wood. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, but thin for a stout and carbonation is average. Flavour is tart and funky with some roasted malty notes, yeast, and maybe watered down coffee. A stout in name only. In the overall pantheon of beers, this is above average. In the overall pantheon of stouts, this is below average.

Part of the Spring 2013 LCBO Dupont feature. The beer pours a semi-translucent light reddish-brown with a thin bubbly whitish head. The aroma is yeast, dark fruits, and funk. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is tart fruit and funky yeast with a little malt sweetness. I expected more.
