The beer pours a grapefruit pinkish-red with a 1" tan coloured cap. The aroma is grainy malt, and vomit. The can says "Not for the faint of hops' but I smelled none. Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is better than the aroma with grainy mnalt and a slight hop bitterness, still not as bitter as the description on the can would suggest -

The beer poured a lightly hazed golden orange with a thin white head. The aroma was citrusy hops, but not over the top, light fruit, and some caramel. Mounthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is a balance between light grapefruity hops and light caramel malt. Good, far from outstanding. -

The beer poured a transparent reddish-brown colour with a thin tan head. The aroma was roasted malt, dark fruit, and some herbal hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was on the sweet side with molasses and coffee, and a spicy finish. The best Church-Key beer I have had in ages. -

The beer poured a translucent copper red colour with a thin tan coloured cap. The aroma was malt, caramel, fruits, floral hops, and spices. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was sweet grains, some caramel, yeast, and a hoppy finish. The best Altbier I've had to date. -

The beer pours a crystal clear light gold colour with a smallish white cap that lasts a while. The aroma is sweet malt, grass, a metallic tang, and some spruce. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, with average carbonation. Flavour is very grainy, with a little bit of spiciness. As with a previous rater, not tasting any spruce here. -

The beer pours a translucent scarlet red colour with ruby highlights and a this white ring for a head. The aroma was burnt toast, some sweet malt, and a weak hint of hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour was burnt toast, and sweet malt. Not much rye character in this beer. More like a brown ale gone wrong. -

The beer pours a murky copper colour with a 1" creamy tan head that lasts. The aroma is spices, alcohol, sweet malt, candy sugar, and dark fruits. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is all over the place, there are peaty notes, molasses notes, gingerbread notes, fruity notes, and alcohol notes. Liquid Christmas Cake. It's just not for me. -

The beer pours a hazed orange-gold colour with a generous rocky light tan coloured head. Aroma is very citrusy with some grass in the mix. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is well balanced with the malty backbone balanced balanced by the bitter citrus flavours of the hops. A very good beer, very unlager-like though. -

The beer pours a translucent copper colour with a sticky whitish head. The aroma is pine, citrus, spices and caramel. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, with average carbonation. Flavour is caramel, grapefruit, and a peppery sense. Renaissance makes some decent brews.
