In all seriousness I do sometimes but other times I just forget to.

I don't always buy cans, but when I do the holders usually look like Lou's.

When I buy cans, they usually come in a box...but when there is a plastic holder, then yes I cut them. Every time.

havent in a long time but dont event remember the time I last bought anything with those. I only buy single cans from the mix and match. As kid we always used them as handcuffs and then would play like the hulk and break out of them.[8]

If it's light plastic, i.e., Oskar Blues type, yes, always. Heavier plastic that completely covers the can top, with no holes large enough to strangle anything bigger than a cockroach, go to the recycle bin intact. I don't mind strangling cockroaches [}:)]
