Whoops, I can't respond to this thread. I was coming up with suck movies that deserve sequels, as the latter rarely impress me or do the original justice.
You could always answer facetiously; I mean, that is what the dumbass who suggested Casablanca was going for, right? [;)]

I agree. We're not talking about remakes. We're talking about a story, after those kickass movies. WTF happens to Swan? WTF happens to Ajax? Does Rembrant ever grow a pair? Besides. This is all for fun. Hollywood already had hopes of re-making The Warriors with Tony Scott at the helm, but I think (and hope) it fell on it's face.

Game Informer had an interesting article on the making of that movie this month. They discussed how multiple actors turned it down and Nintendo had very little to do with the actual production. It went through numerous rewrites with many different crews of writers each tacking things on. Inexperienced directors...Basically, the entire production was a mess. Apparently John Leguizamo and Bob Hoskins were doing shots between takes as they were so frustrated with all the last minute changes.
