Non-Beer Discussion by STOUTLOVER72

but when you watched it as an adult you thought it sucked, and wondered how in the hell you ever enjoyed it in the first place. Silent Runnings Vanishing Point

Actually I take it back, Blackbeard's Ghost is still f-n hilarious. Serious Peter Ustinov as a drunk pirate that only Dean Jones can see, that still stands the test of time.

more sheer Badassedness. Wish he didn't get chopped in half, but that scene was intense...and way better than any scene Dark Helmet was in.

...the villain is better than Vader
I'm 'bout to sound like a total nerd here...so... I'm kinda interested as to why you think this? He has about 15 minutes of screen time, 3 lines and you think he's better than Vader? His costume design? Vader has depth of character. Mual has...what? End of the nerdish talk. Sorry.
ah...ok.

Rocky Horror Picture Show My friends and I saw the movie dozens of times, for the audience participation and singing along with the movie. Also Blade Runner, Videodrome, Time Bandits and Brazil.

also The Jerk, watched that dozens of time. Same with Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Life of Brian.

Used to go to Rocky almost every saturday night at midnight. Never went in costume, but I did yell things at the screen like an idiot and try to pick up lonely nymphomaniac goth chicks (...like an idiot).

Whenever I get dangerously bored, I go to the local redneck bar for karaoke and sing "Sweet Transvestite" [:0]

Ha! thought I erased "lonely"...guess I didn't. That theatre was full of these "My life is a black pit of despair because nobody loves me or notices me...but you will...if I do this...right?" girls desperate for attention and charged with sexual innuendo. And a movie I loved when I was younger and thought was dumb when I was older....Labyrinth. That one just doesn't hold up like the Dark Crystal does.
