Would you be a dog?
Non-Beer Discussion by CLASH
Hell yah I would. As a human I do have higher cognative ability, despite what Sassy says, so people expect more of you. Dogs dont worry about paying rent, the job market, politics, etc etc. They just eat, play in the yard, get petted, breed, and sleep. That sounds good to me. I think I would give up my ability to reason and all that crap to be a dumb dog.

Good question and funny for that matter. Well, I think I would because it would be much, much easier. However, we must explore some of the negative aspects. First of all, you would not but as sentient as a human being but that is not bad because you would know no other form of psyche. One deal breaker may be life span as well. Dogs live much shorter lives than humans but again, you only know your life span and no other and it is all relative anyway. So, yes I would like to led a life of a dog.[|)]

i take umbrage to that. dogs are quite intelligent creatures; i'd definetly put them up there with primates and dolphins. you ever try to train a fish?
Most dogs are fixed. Would you want that too?

Dogs don't live long...Usually 15 years max depending....Also, as was mentioned b-4, they are fixed....OUCH!...that would suck!!!!.....When that happens, they usually are pissed off a their owner for a long time before they get over it.....besides, Clash, if you were a pooch, you'd have to do it Doggie-Style all the time!...........[:D][:p]

I think being a bird dog would be awesome. Living in the lap of luxury and occasionally going out to smell birds. It is amazing to watch a bird dog at work, they are bred for that and they love it. A dog on point is a beautiful site. It's cool as long as I wasn't Cott's dog! [:D]
