For me the ultimate was Hawaii Five-0, not only for the story lines, but in case you haven't noticed, I am in to all things WARM!....and Hawaii is certainly a very lovely place.....Book 'em, Dano! I was also into Mission Impossible (more of a spy drama than crime) and the Streets of San Francisco....Anything Quinn Martin like Cannon, or Barnaby Jones....and believe it or not, I was actually into Chips too!.....Lately, I have been getting into Law and Order...Pretty good story lines....

ooops...alomst forgot...The Rockford Files!...Yes that was my favorite growing up.....NBC-TV Friday Nights, Sanford and Son, Chico and the Man, and The Rockford Files!.....Big Time....I miss my youth!...I watched the TRF more for his car (1977 Pontiac Firebird Coupe not the Trans Am) more than anything!......:D

Old classic "Streets of San Francisco" and German "Der Alte". There are few others but I can't remember particular names. In crimes-mystery-horror genre "Twin Peaks" is very original... but not for very sensitive people.

Not ashamed to admit it, but Matlock was the bomb. Certainly it was crusty like 80's music is. But, I still have a ton of 80's CD's that I enjoy (I can't quite sit through Matlock anymore, but it was great up through college anyway).
