Founded in 2011 by Dimitri van Kampen, Spearhead Brewing Company is a family-run craft brewery located in Toronto, Canada. At its heart is the partnership of Dimitri and Martin Villeneuve, a passion for real beer and a dedication to brewing Beer Without BoundariesTM. At Spearhead, we believe in beer's unlimited potential. We don't adhere to the limitations set by traditional style definitions. We use unusual ingredients and brewing methods to make all-natural craft beer in small batches that is so distinctive and delicious we hope it cannot be judged by ordinary standards. At Spearhead Brewing Company, we are kind of obsessed with beer. We eat, sleep and, yes, drink beer. We are a bunch of beer geeks that take our beer seriously, but we don't take ourselves seriously. We believe that beer has endless possibilities. It can be subtle or bold, enticing or exciting and, when at its finest, delicious. Beer has a flavour spectrum that can perfectly complement and contrast every type of food, spice, herb and seasoning, creating infinite flavour experiences. It can turn a simple meal into a feast or can be gulped down all on its own. Above all else, we believe that beer should always have flavour. While you enjoy a glass of our real beer, feel free to contemplate its colour and texture, its depth of flavour and its unique bouquet. You may find yourself thinking about how the beer was made, what malts were used to produce its rich colour, what hops were used to give it that special taste and nose or what innovative ingredient was added to give it that distinctive finish. You may find yourself thinking about the people that made the beer, slowly, by hand. While you're at it, you may find yourself contemplating all kinds of other important things. Like why are we here, what does it all mean or why is it that every time I do a load of laundry I lose one sock. You never know what real beer can inspire....
