Zehendner Mönchsambacher Lagerbier

500 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Mönchsambach seidla an unfiltered and light hazy golden-orange coloured Kellerbier with a generous two fingers light beige and soapy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Some lacing. Some floating sediments. The aroma is grainy malts, fruity touches, citrus, peaches, floral hops and notes of hay. The flavour is grainy malts, bready, faint biscuits, floral hops, notes of vegetables and honey. The mouthfeel is light crispy and smooth. The texture is oily. This medium bodied Kellerbier has a dry malty and hoppy bitter finish. Not an explosive Kellerbier but more a deeper one, anyway a very nice and good Kellerbier from the greater Bamberger area.

Had on Gravity CASK! .. @ Avenue Pub, NOLA .. . Pours a medium yellow gold .. . light headring .. light bitterness .. . slick and refreshing .. . . Caution: Anal intercourse may lead to irregular heart rhythms. Yeah, you know I'm never gonna have to worry about that. Because God gave me a second lease on life and I'm not gonna press my luck and take it up the ass.

Bayerische Anstich@Akkurat, Stockholm. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, earth, some bittery notes, diacetyl and mild notes of yeast. Flavour is hops, grass, malts and some slight yeasty notes.

Pours out in a hazy dark golden colour with a rich and rocky white foam. Fresh and really crisp and aromatic aroma of elegant mellow grassy hops, white bread, biscuits and minerals. Medium-bodied with notes of white bread, fresh grassy hops, nuts and minerals. Long aromatic and fresh grassy aftertaste.
