500 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Mönchsambacher Weissbier vase an unfiltered and absolutely opaque and golden-orange coloured Hefeweizen with a one finger beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is wheat malts, strong fruity, bananas, spicy, cloves and light sourish notes. The flavour is wheat malts, yeast, fruity, riped bananas, notes of citrus. The mouthfeel is quite thick and fizzy. The texture is watery. This medium bodied Hefeweizen has a long fruity and wheaty malts finish. A pleasant Hefeweizen from the Bamberger area.

Bottled@Pelikan. Hazy yellowish golden colour, small white head. Sweet citrus fruits, some earth, wheat and caramel malts. Flavour is wheat, caramel, some citrusfruits as well as some herbal notes. Also some yeasty notes as it warms up.
