Bottle: Poured a light amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with average carbonation and no lacing. Aroma of medium bitter hoops with some astringency. Taste is a mix between some dry caramel malt body with some medium bitter hosp with some astringency in the aftertaste. Body is average with some average carbonation as well. Overall, this is probably a substandard IPA and not something I would wish to try again.

Bright browny copper body with a good ¼” crown retention IS fairly good. What is that smell? This smells way to good to be coming from Yukon Especially one made for Sherbrook. Sweet toffee , grape fruit, malts smell sweet and rich, surprisingly large amount of hops in the aroma but nothing compared to lots of other IPA’s. Very sweet taste with bitter middle and a disappointing watery empty finish. Zero after taste is left behind. There is the standard grapefruit hops flavour but it seems fake and syrupy the malts are also lacking any real character. Mouth feel seems soft . I can’t figure out this flavour it has all the correct component for an good IPA but it taste wrong and or maybe just low quality. This started off so good with lots of potential but then went downhill and failed. Sigh……………………….

First off, this is a very easy drinking and enjoyable beer. However, it does not live up to many other IPA's available.
Terrible label cheapens the impression of quality.
Poured out a foamy white cap on the small side which dies quickly and the colour is on the light side of the amber range for an IPA. The aroma is nice and fruity but lacks anything impressive: peaches, oranges, ruby grapefruit and maybe red apple skin, mild caramel malts balance it out. The taste is immediately orangy and lacking in that hard and lengthy bitterness that I crave. After a couple of big swigs I've found the leafy hops but they still don't have a huge bite which is actually a nice change up for a one bottle purchace. Some sips come across thin. Medium bodied and now, finally the bitterness has showed up with a good sweet candy finish as well. I'll probably buy more to support local and yukon adventures.
