I purchased a case for 10.00 in N. Canton, Ohio. I often purchase new and different beers by the case, and 10.00! (Nice, have to try!) Took home and placed in dark cooler for 12 hours until perfect temp. Reached. Nice, cloudy bronze beer with perfect Asian/Rice aroma and flavor, Light to Med. mouth feel, and a flavor of my favorite Asian foods with a hint of Soy! Yes, Soy. This is the best with Meats and Seafood of any kind. I went back and purchased five more cases! It's one of the best dinning beers I have ever had.

This is the best cheap stuff I've ever had. I picked up a 6-pack for $3, and it had dust all over it, but for 3 bucks, it was worth a shot! I'm usually against drinking cheap swill, but this one is different as in, I have never tasted any beer that remotely tasted like this. It's almost un-beerlike, but yet you still get what you want out of it (other than a buzz) it actually tastes good. It definitely has a sweet taste, kinda like molasses... its dark, the packaging is hilarious with the gold foil and tiger (it even has misspelled words!) I can't describe this properly, its worth trying without spending barely anything on it!

The sixer at the store was 2 bucks off so I figured I'd give it a try. This is one extremely interesting beer. Pours a river water cloudy amber color. Nice carbonation is present. The pour is unique in that the head fizzles at first like a soda and then dissipates, again like a soda. No lacing is present. The aroma is an odd mix of sweet syrup or molasses and very sweet malts. The scent is invitingly annoying. The flavor I could probably write a chapter on and still not be able to adequately describe. It is very sweet and malty and reinforces the characteristics of the aroma. Thin mouthfeel with a sticky finish that leaves a tricky aftertaste. This beer is an enigma to me, I will not likely look for it again. Very out of the ordinary and unique worth it to try it and see for yourself.

I was surprised to see this listed as a schwarzbier, as the appearance said otherwise, more of a dark lager. Very watery and murky yet pale brown color. The aroma was quite nondescript, yet the flavor was something else entirely. Kind of syrupy at first, but gave way to a distinctive malty sweetness that could only come from the rice, that is if you have had rice based products before, like rice milk, rice ice cream, etc. Not bad, but would not order again.

Well, it is a black beer. Poured from the bottle with a very small, tan head. The aroma was mostly mollasses with a little cloying. Taste is a bit sweet with roasted barley, like toast. Not bad but wouldn’t buy another.

Something strange about this one. Maybe the rice? Had nice color, but the aroma was -well-off? The taste was definitely different and I can't say is was a different I liked. Perhaps with a good Chinese meal this would be right at home, but for nice, casual drinking, I'll stay American.
